Harold Turner's car

Harold Turner's Cabriolet

Welcome to the home page for Harold Turner's Cabriolet. Harold started building his car in 1984. He purchased a rolling chassis from Sky and Judy Clausen. His donor cars were a 1976 Ford LTD (which he only paid $100.00) and a 1973 MG Midget (which he paid $400.00).

Driver Side

He got his steering column and brake master cylinder from a local salvage yard. During this time, Harold was teaching and he had his high school students give him as hand with the overhauling process.

Harold Turners's car

The dash board is handmade by Harold from solid walnut with Carpathian Elm burl flexible veneer overlay. He applied five coats of Helmsman Minwax spar polyurethane and wet sanded between each coat.
