Larry Scalzi's Cabriolet - Sold to Thomas Brown

scalzi

Larry's car is truly a labor of love. He purchased his set of fenders eight years ago
and has spent many hours of work on his Cabriolet.

Unfortunately, Larry's inspiration for building his car, his wife of 40+ years, passed away in the spring of 1998. Larry found himself unable to complete this classic and wanted to sell it to someone who would be willing to take the time and care to see it to the end.

The upholstery and exhaust systems are the two main items that need to be completed.
This car was sold in May of 2000 for over $19,000 to Thomas Brown of Utah.
Thomas plans to try and finish the fine work Larry started.

Larry is a master craftsman. He even built an all steel hard top for his car. What a guy!
