Mike purchased his first set of fenders in 1990.
Mike took a little different approach to building his car...
he lowered the body by removing three inches to give his car a sleeker appearance.
Mike started with a 1981 Ford LTD chassis and a 1975 Midget.
The engine is a 302 and the transmission is a C4, both stock on the donor car.
Mike also used the hearter and a/c unit and has no problems with overheating.
To adjust for the change in weight, Mike added 400 pounds of lead to the front behing the "road lights".
Mike enjoys driving his car and says it handles like a sports car.
He drives it several times a year from his home in Rhode Island to Florida and back.
Mike has a second set of fenders and is working on his second Cabriolet...
