Derek purchased His fenders from Sky about 25 years ago. It was the first set of fenders exported into canada and neither himself nor Sue Munson knew the procedure. Eventually He got his fenders and took a crashed 1982 Ford LTD police cruiser and a 1971 midget and got started.

Several events (such as moving/work/family) kept him from working on the car. Finally in earnest he started to build it again 3 years ago. It took him 5 years of weekends and after work nights to build it. He built it from a 1982 Ford LTD and a 1971 MG Midget. The motor is a Ford 351 Windsor with a 4 speed metric transmission.
