Prepping the MG Midget
First we build a special " picture frame" on which to place
the modified midget body.

This is build in a sequence of seven steps.
Once the picture frame is complete and the
front of the Midget removed,
the
body is placed on the top of the frame.
This will keep the Midget body
square and true.

The rear fins are cut off
and the back rounded to obtain the "Gatsby" look.

Special body mounts are made and will later be bolted on the rear of the Midget,
where the rear wheels use to be mounted,
to secure the body to the donor car frame.
After the body work is done, it's off to the painter.
